*If you are using metalic thread, try using the metallic needles.
They have a larger eye which will allow the thread to pass through easier without breaking.
*Add drops of "Sewers
Aide" on your thread if you find the thread breaking alot.
*Don't foget to change your needle often (every
8-10 hours of use). Using a bad needle will cause your threads to skip and break.
*If you do alot of embroidery,
try using "pre-wound bobbins". This will save you the time of having to wind bobbins and you can get more
thread out of a pre-wound bobbin.
If you need extra holding power while placing a hat or something stiff to be embroidered, try using "Wash Away
Wonder Tape". "Wonder Tape" is a double-sided transparent tape that will not gum up your needle and disappears
in the first washing. First hoop your stabilizer and do a "fix stitch". Next apply several strips
of "Wonder Tape' along your "fix stitch". Don't forget to remove the paper layer off the tape.
Now place your project on the stabilizer and affix it to the "Wonder Tape". THe "Wonder Tape" will
help to hold the project to the stabilizer. Now do another "Fix Stitch" to hold the project to the stabilizer.
